Comedy for Mental Health
with Claire Daigle
8-Week Course
Sundays, 4-7PM
January 4th to Feb 22nd, 2026
Do you tend to crack jokes when stressed? Or maybe you're a performer who suffers from intense stage fright! Let's be real: Most of us could use a good mental health check-in. Whether you're an established performer or brand new to comedy, this class will focus on the way we can use elements of comedy performance to help our overall mental wellbeing.
This class is a collaboration between Dallas Comedy Club and A Sisters Legacy. It incorporates exercises and techniques from DCC's regular core classes and approaches these concepts through a therapeutic lens. This curriculum was developed by Claire Daigle (DCC Director of Education) and Karen Carillo, LCSW-S.
This class is eight weekly sessions running from January 4th to February 22nd, 2026. The co-instructors are Claire Daigle and Karen Carrillo, LCSW-S.
CLASS DATES: SUNDAYS FROM 4-7PM, 1/4/26 – 2/22/26
Class Registration is Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable:
Due to our small class sizes, your registration secures a spot that can't be offered to others. For this reason, payments are non-refundable and non-transferable (except in extenuating circumstances), and can only be applied to the current term’s class.
This policy still applies if your schedule changes due to a new job, show casting, or other commitments. Please confirm your availability before registering.
As a small business, we truly appreciate your support and understanding—refunds also incur fees on our end, so we aim to avoid them when possible.
