Movement for Stand-Up

Figuring out how to move onstage can be challenging for stand-ups! In this workshop we will explore techniques from theater, dance, yoga and other movement modalities to unlock your body's potential for comedic genius. We will study how posture can impact performance and confidence, and how to use subtle movement cues to get the audience on your side. The culmination of the session will be an act out intensive where we break down how to enhance your movements for maximum comedic effect!
This class is one (1) three hour session. The instructor is Claire Daigle. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable. All students must adhere to policies in the Dallas Comedy Club Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older to enroll and participate.
