8 weeks (3 hours per class) for $350 + final grad show (1 hour) Prerequisite: Intro to Sketch and instructor approval
You did it! You dipped your toes into the world of sketch writing and now it’s time to keep building on that momentum! This class is an advanced sketch writing course that will give you the experience of working as a writer on a professional comedy show. Students will learn how to better craft sketches, pitch their ideas with confidence, expand their writing portfolio, collaborate with a team of writers, and produce their own sketches for a live performance. The class will conclude with a grad show performance, in which you and your classmates will be responsible for casting, rehearsing, directing, and producing your work for the stage.
This is an eight week class running from EXACT DATES AND TIME HERE. The instructor is NAME. All sales are final. All students must adhere to policies in the Dallas Comedy Club Student Handbook. Class sizes are limited to allow for optimal instruction and student development. Improv classes involve close physical proximity and are held indoors; students must be 18 years or older with proof of COVID vaccination to enroll and participate. All sales are final and classes are non-refundable.
