8-Week Course + Final Grad Show
Thursdays, 7:00 – 9:00 pm
March 16th – May 11th, 2023

No one has a story like yours. No one has experienced this life the way you have. So why not bring your story to life in a way you’ve never imagined before? The art of storytelling is not only a therapeutic experience for yourself, but for those who need to hear it. In this course you’ll learn how to create a clear arc in telling your story, how to emote, and how to keep your audience completely captivated. You will explore popular storytelling modes including TedX and The Moth. You’ll receive focused feedback in a nurturing environment that will help boost your confidence and skills as a storyteller. This course will focus on giving you the tools and confidence you need to tell one story, your story, at your final grad show presentation.

This class is eight weekly sessions running from March 16, 2023 to May 11, 2023. Class will skip one week on April 6th for the Easter holiday. The instructor is Dan Sturdivant. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable. All students must adhere to policies in the Dallas Comedy Club Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older to enroll and participate.

CLASS DATES: THURSDAYS FROM 7-9PM, 3/16/23 – 5/11/23
