Learn to act without a script and write on your feet with 0% fear and 100% fun! This is the perfect place for absolute beginners to get acquainted with the art of long form and short form improvisation. This in-person, 4 week class will focus on having fun, being in the moment, and getting out of your own head. Stop questioning yourself, make bold choices, and jump in with the first thing that comes to mind! All within a safe and positive class environment. All skill levels are welcome, but beginners are especially encouraged to try this class out. This class does not include a grad show or final showcase performance; it’s truly just a taste of what improv is all about, without any of the pressures of a show to follow. So if you’ve ever watched shows like Whose Line Is It Anyway? or Curb Your Enthusiasm and thought, “This looks like a lot of fun…” then come give this whole ‘improv’ thing a try!
