8-Week Course + Final Grad Show
Sundays 1:00-4:00PM

November 21, 2021-January 16, 2022
Grad Show: Sat Jan 22nd at 5:00PM

Silly games, belly laughs, and healthy competition: this is what short form improv is all about! This class will explore the different genres of short form improv games and go over the underlying concepts that make them successful and fun; for you and for your audience. With repeated practice and coaching, you’ll familiarize yourself with the tactics and techniques to make you and your new teammates look like comedic geniuses onstage and off. Encouraging 100% commitment onstage, we’ll help you remove the blocks that stop spontaneity, and together we’ll learn how to make scenes and games funny and engaging for everyone involved. Step outside your comfort zone to challenge yourself and release your spontaneity.

This is an eight-session class running from Sunday, November 21, 2021 – Sunday, January 16, 2022 (1:00-4:00PM). The instructor is Gabriel Vasquez.

This class will meet on the following dates: Nov 21, Nov 28, Dec 5, Dec 12, Dec 19, Jan 2, Jan 9, and Jan 16. The class graduation show will be Saturday, January 22nd at 5:00PM. Please note: class will not be held on Sunday, December 26th.
