Ever watch comedy on social media? Then you probably know that crowd work is all the rage! Explore the highs and lows of what crowd work can do for your set. Learn the strategy behind incorporating crowd work in your material, as well as techniques to stay in control of the room. This workshop will review ways to be successful in comedy as crowd work becomes expected by many audience members. Study techniques on how to handle hecklers, shuffle your material, and create instant call backs to help your set feel more conversational and organic.

Tyson Faifer is an award winning stand-up comic who began his comedy career in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Tyson discovered his love for comedy during college and is now taking his act on the road across the United States, sharing his unique point of view on the people, places, and things that enter his world. Tyson’s witty and high energy act has been proven to leave audiences wanting more. He combines his love for fitness and the 90’s in his unique style that is loved by all audiences, young and old. He is the original winner of the East Texas Comedy Festival and has appeared on NBC’s American Ninja Warrior.

This class is one (1) three-hour session. The instructor is Tyson Faifer. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable. All students must adhere to policies in the Dallas Comedy Club Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older to enroll and participate.
