3 Hour Workshop

Are you curious about stand-up but don’t have a desire to perform it? This is the class for you! Develop an appreciation for the craft through this one-day survey course. Your instructor will take you through a brief history of the art, introduce you to common stand-up joke structures, and answer whatever questions you have about all things stand-up comedy! We promise, you’ll never watch stand-up the same way again!
Magen King is a talented comedian who has worked with Andrew Dice Clay, Shawn Wayans, Mark Curry, Dean Edwards and Dean Lewis. She started performing at a young age starring in comedic productions in Kansas City. She began her improv and stand-up comedy career in Dallas, Texas where she studied under Dean Lewis and at Dallas Comedy House. Magen frequently performs at clubs across the country, and recently headlined her own weekend at Dallas Comedy Club.
This class is one (1) three-hour session. The instructor is Magen King. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable. All students must adhere to policies in the Dallas Comedy Club Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older to enroll and participate.
