Intro to Sketch
Prerequisite: Long Form Improv Level One + Instructor Approval

Whether you’re looking to refresh your packet, or have never written a sketch before, our sketch program will make you a better writer. Over this eight-week course, you’ll be introduced to classic sketch formats as well as emerging trends in sketch. Learn how to mine for comedic premises, create original characters, and develop your unique comedic voice.

This is an eight-session class running from Sunday, April 10 – Sunday, May 29, 2022 (2:00-4:00PM). This class will meet on the following dates: Apr 10, Apr 17, Apr 24, May 1, May 8, May 15, May 22, and May 29th. The instructor is Aaron Figueroa.

All students must adhere to student policies as described in the Dallas Comedy Club Student Handbook. Class sizes are limited to allow for optimal instruction and student development. Sketch classes involve close physical proximity and are held indoors; students must be 18 years or older with proof of COVID vaccination to enroll and participate. All sales are final and classes are non-refundable.
