3 Hour Workshop
Saturday, December 23rd
4:00-7:00pm

You’ve rehearsed your show, but what does it actually take to get it to the stage? From pitching your show to a theater, to tech design, to stage management, this workshop takes you through the ins and outs of all things production. Learn about the different departments of a theater and how to communicate efficiently and effectively with an entire staff. Explore methods of notation for shows, including how to create your own “show bible” to make sure all elements of your show are accounted for. By the end of this workshop you will have an arsenal of tools to ensure your shows always go off without a hitch!

When Claire Daigle’s professional dance career crashed and burned she never imagined she would end up back in a theater! After working around Dallas as an ok stand-up comic, Claire became the Director of Education at Dallas Comedy Club in 2022. She also manages the club’s Box Office and Tech staff. Her passion for precise sound cues, bright stage lights, and well-choreographed bows has helped to establish DCC’s Sketch Club as the preeminent team in the North Texas sketch comedy scene. In her free time she is nearly always hanging out with her greyhound, Pongo.

This class is one (1) three-hour session. The instructor is Claire Daigle. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable. All students must adhere to policies in the Dallas Comedy Club Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older to enroll and participate.
