Are you a little curious about improv? You know you’re at least a little curious! Take this low-stakes class to learn the basic theory of improv and explore how it can heighten other types of performance. Maybe you’re looking to come up with punchier one-liners for your stand-up act, or you’re looking for a new way to mine for sketch premises. Whatever your comedy goals are, a little bit of improv can go a long way!

It’s Stefan! By day, he works at a boring tech job doing data and analytics stuff that everyone immediately forgets about as soon as he explains it to them. By night, he is an improviser and comedian who produces shows and performs all over town. He started improvising in 2018 at the Dallas Comedy House and is currently a regular performer at the Dallas Comedy Club, where he produces the variety show Queer Factor and performs with the improv troupe Butt Gay.

This class is one (1) three-hour session. The instructor is Stefan Newman. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable. All students must adhere to policies in the Dallas Comedy Club Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older to enroll and participate.
