Are you the funny person at your office? Do you want to be the funny person at your office? Either way, Dallas Comedy Club has a class for you! Stand up and give it a shot!
DCC offers one intro and two advanced levels of stand-up classes, a Conservatory level, and occasional special-topic workshops. All classes are taught by locally-based touring comics who walk the walk and talk the jokes. New classes are posted regularly, so check back for updates!
DCC’s capstone level of Stand-Up classes is our Stand-Up Conservatory. This level is designed for advanced students and working comics to receive real-world coaching tailored to their individual needs. Students will benefit from the connections they make in the class, and are encouraged to write with their peers. While the class is not as focused on writing as our other levels, instructors are available to coach students through refining their material.

Failure to meet these requirements will result in your application being rejected. This class is for the pros, so we need your application to reflect that!

Dallas Comedy Club has several ways for you to continue performing! Whether you’re still working on your first five minutes or working your way to a full hour of material, we want to support your growth as an artist.
Attend our Sunday and Wednesday Open Mics! These are a great way to get some stage time in both of our theaters.
Pitch us your own show! Many of our most successful stand-up showcases are produced by Training Center alumni.
Submit for our competition! Purvis Wilson Presents: Funniest Stand-Up In Dallas every year. It’s a great way to gain exposure and opportunities to perform in front of the club’s booking managers.
