Learn how to make the most of your natural intelligence in this fun workshop led by DCC’s own Jack Ritchey!
Do you find yourself hesitating, inventing, or “looking for jokes” when you improvise? Learn to play with confidence, truth, and integrity through exploring the height of your intelligence. In this workshop we’ll pull truth and honesty from the actor and apply that truth on stage in a way that connects you to the audience, gives you plenty of ammunition for laughs, and makes you look smarter than a Harvard Law professor. But hopefully less pretentious.

ABOUT JACK

Jack recently moved to Dallas from Chicago, where he was a staple in the improv community for over 8 years. Jack performed with his team “Friends with Chirag” at Second City, iO, CIC, Annoyance, and Playground Theaters. He also was a member of the house team at the Comedy Clubhouse with his team “Cheeky Rafiki. Jack has completed the improv training courses at Second City and iO, and currently plays with the DCC club team “The Good Morning”. Oh, also at one point Jack was on a team with Meg Stalter, from Hacks. But now she’s on HBO and he is not.
