Sketch Level Two
Prerequisite: Intro to Sketch + Instructor Approval
July 13th-August 31st, 2022
You did it! You dipped your toes into the world of sketch writing and now it’s time to keep building on that momentum! This class is an advanced sketch writing course that will give you the experience of working as a writer on a professional comedy show. Students will learn how to better craft sketches, pitch their ideas with confidence, expand their writing portfolio, collaborate with a team of writers, and produce their own sketches.
This is an eight-session class running from Wednesday, July 13th– Wednesday, July 127h, 2022 (7:00-9:00PM). This class will meet on the following dates: July 13th, July 20, July 27, August 3rd, August 10th, August 17th, August 24th, & August 31st. There is no grad show. The instructor is Tab Parker.
All students must adhere to student policies as described in the Dallas Comedy Club Student Handbook. Class sizes are limited to allow for optimal instruction and student development. Sketch classes involve close physical proximity and are held indoors; students must be 18 years or older with proof of COVID vaccination to enroll and participate. All sales are final and classes are non-refundable.
