Prerequisite: Level 2 Sketch
You’ve written a portfolio of sketches in Intro and Level Two Sketch, now it’s time to put them on the stage! Sketch Conservatory is the capstone level of DCC’s Sketch track and gives students the tools they need to fully produce their own high-quality sketch shows. Students will receive instruction and mentorship from DCC faculty as they create an original show of their own material created in previous sketch courses. The class explores the different stages of the production process focusing on how artists collaborate to create a cohesive show.
CLASS DATES: SATURDAYS FROM 4-7:00PM, 4/20/24 – 7/20/24
This class is eight weekly sessions running from April 20, 2024 to July 20, 2024. Class will not meet on days that DCC’s Sketch Club is in tech rehearsals. The instructor is Claire Daigle. Classes are non-refundable and all sales are final. Students must be 18 years or older to enroll and participate, and must adhere to policies in the Dallas Comedy Club Student Handbook.
